THE COTTAGE
Marmie Cottage is a bright spacious holiday home with open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with double doors opening onto a south facing terrace.
The kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven.
The sitting room has tv and dvd also a woodburner for those chilly autumn evenings. The cottage also has free wifi.
THE POOL
The swimming pool is 8x4 meters and 1.20 deep throughout.
It has its own south-facing terrace with pool loungers surrounded by a fragrant garden.You have shared use of the swimming pool with the owners.
LOCAL LIFE
This property enjoys one of the best positions in the Lot valley, surrounded by small market towns but only 25 minutes from the medieval town of Cahors, 15 minutes from the Dordogne, and an hour and a half drive from Toulouse.
Local bakery and epicierie 2km. It is in walking distance of the village of Pomarède which has a good restaurant. It's a 10 minute drive to Prayssac, a town with a wonderful Friday morning market, two supermarkets and small shops selling almost everything you need, and just a bit further to medieval Puy l'eveque, one of the prettiest towns on the river Lot.
