The apartment is a renovated barn in a secluded setting in the Lot valley.
It is a bright spacious area with open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with double doors opening onto a south facing terrace.

The kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven.
The sitting room has tv and dvd also a woodburner for those chilly autumn evenings.
There is free broadband internet access.

Leading up the spiral staircase you come to a large bedroom with a double and single bed from here you have a wonderful view over the garden and woods beyond, separate bathroom.
Linen provided except pool towels.

You have shared use of the swimming pool with the owners.
The swimming pool is 8x4 meters and 1.20 deep throughout.
It has its own south-facing terrace with pool loungers surrounded by a fragrant garden.

The owners reside on the property grounds along with their cat, dog and sheep. They respect holidaymaker's privacy but are on hand for advice and help if required.

This property enjoys one of the best positions in the Lot valley, surrounded by small market towns but only 25 minutes from the medieval town of Cahors, 15 minutes from the Dordogne, and an hour and a half drive from Toulouse.

The Lot valley is famous for its beautiful villages, Cahors wine, prehistoric caves and chateaux. It is also perfect for outside activities: canoeing, cycling, fishing, tennis, hang gliding and horse riding are all available in the vicinity. The nearest golf course is only 15 minutes away.

Local bakery and epicierie 2km. It is in walking distance of the village of Pomarède which has a good restaurant. It's a 10 minute drive to Prayssac, a town with a wonderful Friday morning market, two supermarkets and small shops selling almost everything you need, and just a bit further to medieval Puy l'eveque, one of the prettiest towns on the river Lot.
